The audio CD : for every piece, you will first hear the full version with the orchestral accompaniment, followed by the accompaniment-only version for practice.

Scores : 

• organ version : the right hand plays the melody, the left hand plays the chords and the pedal is used for the bass line + accompaniment charts for guitar
• solo piano version : intermediate level
• simplified version : melody for the right hand, simple harmonic line for the left hand

 Sing along : use the audio CD to sing all these standards with a great accompaniment. Full lyrics for each song are included. The melodies are shown in the keyboard parts (right hand).

Guitar : the guitar chords shown are intended for accompaniment. They can be expanded or the positions can be modified. The melodies can also be played on the guitar; they are shown in the keyboard parts (right hand).

Other instruments : other instruments can also play the melodies of these standards (or can improvise on them), such as the flute or violin. It is important to note that for instruments like the clarinet or saxophone, the melodies would need to be transposed. A bass can join in the accompaniment by playing the pedal line (organ) or by following the chord charts for guitar.
